Cayenne brownie
Dense dark-chocolate brownie with cayenne: sweet at first bite, with heat that arrives at the end.

Ingredients
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 100 g flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cayenne (or chili flakes, or ground dried chili)
Steps
- Melt the chocolate with the butter over a bain-marie and let it cool slightly.
- Beat the eggs with the sugar until they almost double in volume.
- Combine the two and gently fold in the flour and the cayenne.
- Bake at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes: the center should stay moist.
- Let it cool before cutting, if you have that kind of patience.
