Spicy tuna onigiri
Japanese rice triangle filled with tuna, mayo and sriracha, dusted with tajin. An onigiri with a double spicy hit.

Ingredients
- 300 g sushi rice
- 1 can of tuna
- 2 tbsp Japanese mayo
- 1 jalapeno
- Sriracha to taste (or sambal oelek, or whatever hot sauce you have)
- Nori seaweed
- Tajin
Steps
- Cook the sushi rice following the package and let it cool; it should stay sticky so you can mold it.
- Drain the tuna and mix it with the Japanese mayo, the very finely chopped jalapeno and a touch of sriracha.
- With damp hands so it does not stick, take a portion of rice and make a hollow in the center.
- Fill with the tuna mixture and close the rice over the top.
- Press into a flattened triangle shape, without overdoing it so you do not pack it too tight.
- Wrap the base with a strip of nori and sprinkle tajin on top before serving.
