Jalapeno spread for everything
Cream cheese whipped with jalapeno, red pepper and spring onion. A green, spicy spread for almost anything.

Ingredients
- 200 g cream cheese at room temperature
- 2 jalapenos (or serranos for more fire, or sweet pepper if you want them without heat)
- Half a red pepper
- 1 spring onion
- 1 clove of garlic
- Salt and fresh cilantro
Steps
- Very finely chop the jalapenos (remove the veins and seeds if you want it milder), the pepper and the spring onion.
- Work the cream cheese with the grated garlic and a pinch of salt until smooth and manageable.
- Fold in the chopped vegetables and a little cilantro.
- Let it rest for half an hour in the fridge so the flavors settle and the green tints the spread.
- Spread it on toast or crackers, or save it to fill some jalapeno poppers.
