Feta with a spark
Feta marinated in olive oil with chili flakes, garlic and oregano. Cheese and spicy oil in one jar.

Ingredients
- 200 g feta cheese
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Chili flakes (or a chopped dried red chili, or cayenne)
- 2 cloves of garlic
- Oregano, lemon zest and pepper
Steps
- Cut the feta into cubes and pat them dry with paper so the oil grips better.
- In a jar, alternate the cubes with slices of garlic, chili flakes, oregano and strips of lemon zest.
- Cover with olive oil until the cheese is fully submerged.
- Close it and let it marinate in the fridge for at least a day, better three.
- Use it on toast, in salads or pasta, and do not throw out the oil: it stays spicy and aromatic for dressings.
